Blossom is one of the three protagonists of the Cartoon Network original series The Powerpuff Girls. She is the leader of the Powerpuff Girls and is often seen as the most mature, level-headed and composed member of the group, though she can be fussy, forgetful, overbearing, vain and overly analytical at times.
In the anime adaptation, Powerpuff Girls Z, Blossom (known as Momoko Akatsutsumi in the original Japanese version) is the leader of the trio, like in the original series. In that series, her weapon of choice is a yo-yo, and she also has an obsession with candy.
