Lewis Loud is the ex-husband of Gina, the father of Paul, the ex-boyfriend of Tamsin Taylor, and the protagonist of the 2012 ITV one-off comedy-drama Panto!.
Lewis is a DJ working at Morecambe FM, and prepares to star in his first pantomime as Jack the Lad in Dick Whittington at The Grand Theatre Lancaster. He is also in a relationship with soap star Tamsin Taylor, who is playing Dick. However, during dress rehearsals, Lewis's ex-wife Gina arrives and leaves Lewis their son, Paul, to care for while she and her new partner Tony go on a winter holiday to Puerto Banús after winning a competition.
Because of this, Lewis has to juggle caring for Paul (who acts distant to Lewis because he cares more about showbiz than accepting his fatherly duties), his relationship with Tamsin, and preparing for the pantomime.
At the opening night's interval, Tamsin decides to quit the pantomime to take part in a reality show in the North Pole called Celebrity Sleigh Ride, and invites Lewis to join her. However, Lewis turns down the offer to instead accept his fatherly duties and remain in the pantomime.
After the pantomime's success, Lewis is last seen the following morning working on his radio show with Paul and plays Chesney Hawkes' new song "Aeroplane", before he and Paul go to play football, something they have not done together since Paul was five.
