Kyle Broflovski is one of the two co-protagonists (alongside Eric Cartman) of the South Park franchise, serving as one of the two co-protagonists (alongside Eric Cartman) of the long-running Comedy Central show South Park.
He has appeared in every Christmas episode of the show to date, including the original short "The Spirit of Christmas". In one such special, "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo", after his mother complains about him playing Joseph of Nazareth in the school play just because he's Jewish, Kyle tries to get the town to believe in the title character as a non-religious Christmas character. Instead he is labelled as crazy. This is in addition to his feeling like an outcast for being the only one who doesn't celebrate Christmas.
