Fluttershy is a character from the My Little Pony toy line and related media, first featured in the franchise's third generation. Originally introduced as an Earth Pony who loves taking pictures and window shopping, she was later redesigned as a Pegasus Pony in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In that series, she lives in a small cottage near the Everfree Forest and takes care of animals, the most prominent of her charges being Angel the bunny. She is sweet and good-natured, but, as her name suggests, she is timid and shy around others, though she is big-hearted enough to stand up for other ponies when they are in trouble. Fluttershy has a great love and care for animals and is willing to help them at any cost. She represents the element of kindness.
