"The Light Ray Robot" (電光人間 Denkou Ningen?) is the Christmas episode of the 1980s Astro Boy anime series (or Mighty Atom, as it is known in Japan). The original Japanese episode premiered on Nippon Television in Japan on December 24, 1980. The episode was translated into English as part of the dubbed version by Tezuka Productions and aired on the Australian Broadcasting Company network on July 23, 1982.
