"John Bishop's Britain Christmas Special" is the Christmas special of the British comedy series John Bishop's Britain, which is presented by comedian and actor John Bishop. It broadcast on BBC One on December 27, 2011 (ironically, two days after Christmas).
In this festive special, John dons his Christmas jumper and gets to grips with all things Christmassy. Starting out with the hell of present buying, John goes on to discuss tacky decorations, family arguments and that awful Christmas music.
He also shares stories, including his embarrassing run in with a stern headmistress at his son's nativity play and also a pantomime disaster.
Along the way we hear funny opinions from members of the public and celebrities alike. Yuletide treats include Noddy Holder confessing that he has actually met Santa and Eamonn Holmes insisting that it's wives that ruin Christmas.
