I did briefly consider expanding this wiki to cover Christmas-themed storybooks and comics, but decided against it when I realized it'd be too much of a hassle to make articles about every Christmas comic story ever written (and that's even without superhero comics). The Wiki already has enough to cover just focusing on films and television shows, and possibly also webshows.
For the record, songs are a different subject matter. Christmas songs have always been covered here because they're regularly featured in Christmas specials and movies.
At the moment, I don't think we do. We may need to write one up one of these days.
On a related note, I have considered expanding the wiki to cover webshows, but I feel we should cover Christmas-themed episodes of original productions (i.e. Homestar Runner and Hulu originals) and not episodes of review shows (i.e. Angry Video Game Nerd, Nostalgia Critic and Atop the Fourth Wall), since those are basically made to critique other productions.
In America, the episode was called 'Invaders From A Far Planet', while in the original Japanese Ambassador Magma, it was called 'A Christmas Present From The Devil', and was broadcast during the holidays, with all adventures on that show being three parters, so while it started on 12/19, the conclusion was on 1/2 of the New Year. It has its pluses and minuses for listing here. Its American title is not at all Christmas-y. It does definitely begin on Christmas, and gifts given during the episode play a role in the action. It even has a heartwarming turn as the human boy hero recovers his mother from the bad guys. Problem is, by the time its all done two episodes later, Christmas isn't really a factor anymore, lost in all the robots versus monsters action. Is there a way to acknowledge it here without creating an article that either has to include the other two eps or cuts off the plot synopsis?
Final problem: It seems to have no web or home video presence, at least for that episode. What's a good way to proceed?
As I mentioned before, our articles about the specials only need one summary (preferably a long one), not a short summary and a long summary. Also, the show is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, not Cartoon Network Studios, so it doesn't belong in the latter studio's category.
Fine, but you didn't have to revoke my entire edit. Some of those things I added were actually very well needed.
It's all good though, the general consensus won't be coming to this wiki for 11 months, now that Christmas is gone and everyone's thinking about New Year's. So, I've got LOADS of time to do fix those TTG episodes up for good.
