Misty (Japanese: カスミ, Kasumi) is a character from the Pokémon video game series developed by Game Freak. She is the second Gym Leader whom the player battles in Pokémon Red and Blue, who lives in Cerulean City and specializes in water-type Pokémon. In the anime series based on the games, she is the youngest of four sisters and the first of Ash Ketchum's many traveling companions, who began following him on his travels after his Pikachu destroyed her bike.
