Philip J. Fry is the protagonist of the 20th Century Fox animated sitcom Futurama. Born in New York City in the 20th century, he is a laid-back, unintelligent, immature slacker who fell into a cryogenic tank while delivering a pizza to Applied Cryogenics on New Year's Eve of 1999 and was eventually awoken 1000 years later. He now works as a delivery boy for Planet Express, a delivery company run by his distant nephew, Professor Farnsworth.
