On their journey to find Christmas spirit and goodwill, Jingle and Jangle encounter a red-headed woman in Southtown. Advanced in years, the lady is annoyed at the very call of her attention by the little men and appears offended at the very notion of believing in Santa Claus at her age.
Not interested in anything they have to say, the woman is taken aback by their reindeer Vixen, who has been crudely disguised as a dog. When Jangle asks Vixen to bark like a dog, the woman's hand warmer becomes a cat who chases Vixen away.
