The Teddy Bears' Christmas is a 1992 Christmas TV special produced by Lacewood Productions. It originally aired on CTV on November 29, 1992. The film centres around a teddy bear named Ben who sets out to find Santa to tell him to give his owner's sister a teddy of her own. It serves as a prequel to the 1989 special The Teddy Bears' Picnic.
Sally, the little sister of Ben the teddy bear's owner, Simon, would like her very own teddy bear and asks Santa Claus for one. Simon teases Sally about her letter to Santa, whose existence he is a little skeptical about, and at the same time tries to find out what it is she wants. But for Sally, it is a secret between herself, Santa and Ben.
When the family dog eats the letter, Ben sets out to find Santa himself even if it means to go unteddy. When at the local toy shop where Santa is meant to be, Ben meets another teddy whom accompanies Ben back home, but ends up sepreated from him by a snowplow.
On Christmas Day, Simon and Sally go to open their presents, but Ben becomes worried that Sally will be upset about not getting a teddy. However, he soon learns that Sally did get a teddy, who turns out to be the one Ben had met at the toy shop whom Sally names Wally and places him next to Ben.
