The Tiny Tree is a 1975 made-for-television animated special.

Synopsis

A little girl who is in a wheelchair because of an accident moves into a farmhouse with her mother and father. It will take a long time for her to recover and walk again. Nearby is a meadow which is home to many small animals and one tiny tree. They all become great friends. When a heavy snowstorm prevents the girl's father from going to town to get a Christmas tree and her presents, the tiny tree has an idea to help, and the little girl also gets another very special present.

Songs

The special features two songs performed by Roberta Flack - "To Love and Be Loved" and "When Autumn Comes". Both were written by Johnny Marks, who also wrote the songs for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
